Urinary Tact Infection

A urinary tact infection in men is as serious as a urinary infection is in women, and can be aggravated by the presence of genital herpes or other STDs. When only the urethra is affected, it is called urethritis; if the bacteria has moved to the bladder, the disorder is called cystitis. Such types of the UTI are common and rather easy to treat. If the infection has moved to the kidneys, such condition is called pyelonephritis, which is very dangerous. Urinary Infection, Genital Herpes

Such disorders occur when bacteria enter the opening of the urethra and begin to multiply there. Usually bacteria come from the digestive tract and women are more susceptible to UTIs, because their meatus is closer to the anus than in males. A urinary tact infection in men is as serious as a urinary infection is in women, and can be aggravated by the presence of genital herpes or other STDs.
