Chronic Urethritis
Chronic urethritis is not usually characterized by abnormal vaginal discharge, as urethritis is not related to the vagina.
The inflammation may also relate to systematic diseases or hygiene products. Sexually transmitted microorganisms, common bacteria such as E.coli, Chlamydia, and others that affect the urinary tract cause repeated episodes of the infection. This condition is characterized by inflammation of the urethra and occurs in both males and females.

Women may take prophylactic antibiotics to prevent repeated episodes of the infection. This condition is usually treated with antibiotics specific for the bacteria found in the body. They are lasting and occur for up to a few months. Recurrent urethra infection is accompanied by frequent urination, pain, and discharge. Chronic urethritis is not usually characterized by abnormal vaginal discharge, as urethritis is not related to the vagina.
